Wafer Scale Synthesis and High Resolution Structural Characterization of Atomically Thin MoS2 Layers

(01/21/2015) - In this study, researchers in Prof. Cengiz Ozkan's group at UC, Riverside have developed a novel synthesis method for MoS2, a unique material ideally suited for both CMOS and spintronics technology. Through transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the researchers have investigated the structure of MoS2 in collaboration with Dr. Mkhoyan’s group of University of Minnesota.
